The
Journey Church Growth Track is the first step of the discipleship
process at Journey. The Growth Track takes place each quarter on Sundays at 4:00 at
Journey Church. It is made up of four
classes: Journey 101, Essentials 201,
Discovery 301, and Big Team 401. During this track you'll discover who
Journey is, what Journey believes, what is expected of a disciple of
Jesus, who you are as an individual through personality tests, and what
ministry teams are available for you to join. We want everyone at
Journey to be a contributor, not only a consumer, and this begins with
the Journey Growth Track.

1st Sunday: Journey 101
Discovering Partnership at Journey
This class is a basic introduction to the ministry of Journey Church and will help
you understand church partnership. Journey 101 is held once a month on the first
Sunday evening.
2nd Sunday: Essentials 201
Developing A Lifestyle As A Follower of Christ
This class develops the essential habits that ever believer needs to become a fully
devoted follower of Jesus Christ. Essentials 201 is held once a month on the second
Sunday evening.
3rd Sunday: Discovery 301
Finding Your Place In the Body of Christ
This class will help you discover your personality, gifts, and purpose in life, and see how
God combines them for the best fit in ministry. Discovery 301 is held once a month on
the third Sunday evening.
4th Sunday: Big Team 401
Joining the Journey Church Ministry Team
This class is an orientation or training session in the ministry area of your choice to learn
more or to join the Big Team. Big Team 401 is held once a month on the fourth Sunday
