Whether you've attended church your whole life or never stepped foot in
a church, Journey is a safe place to bring your doubts, questions, and
curiosities, regardless of your beliefs or background. We invite you to
come and take a look around. What you'll find is a group of people who
truly desire to experience God and discover that life was never meant
to traveled alone.
How should I dress?
Journey Church is a "come as you are" church. Jeans and ties are equally welcomed.
What's available for my kids?
We love kids! Our nursery is safe and clean and is staffed by a loving group of ladies that will provide exceptional care for your "little ones." For elementary age kids, we have designed energetic and engaging worship experiences that will run concurrent with the adult experiences. Check-in is required for all J-Kidz activities. Check-in and check-out for all ages takes place next door to Silver Cinemas in our Journey Store Front. There, parents fill out an information card for their child and receive a number that will help our J-Kidz and Nursery team to communicate with them if needed during the worship experience.
Children are always welcome in adult worship. As a matter of fact, we believe it is very important for our families to worship together. The 5th Sunday of every month is Family Worship Day where all of our kids (with the exception of nursery and preschool) join us in the main theater for worship.
What if I'd like to pray with someone?
There is almost always ministry time offered during or at the end of every worship experience. The Journey leadership team is always available to pray with you. You can also email personal prayer requests or simply fill out the "Prayer Request" section on the back of your Connection Card when you attend.
What type of music will there be?
We see worship as the door that enters God’s presence. Our worship band seeks to lead us through that door each week. Contemporary worship is the norm for our weekend worship experiences. There are times when timeless hymns are used to bridge the gap between old and new. For us, it isn’t as much about style as it is heart.
Will I be asked to give money?
Offerings are given as an act of worship for attendees who call Journey their home. We teach and believe in Biblical stewardship and tithe. For new visitors, your presence is a gift to us. We want you to be blessed without feeling any obligation to give.
How long does the worship experiences last?
Our worship experiences will last between one hour and fifteen minutes and one hour and thirty minutes. |
